SNL Spoof Sarah Palin – Katie Couric Interview
Last weekend, Tina Fey reprised her hit role as Sarah Palin in an SNL skit parodying the recent CBS interview between the current governor of Alaska and Katie Couric. I think the exasperation on Poehler’s face as Couric was priceless. When Amy Poehler, playing Couric, asked Fey’s Palin for a specific example of how she would spread democracy, Fey responds with, “Katie, I’d like to use one of my lifelines. … I want to phone a friend.”

That woman is completely terrifying. Her being in any sort of political offie is like a horrible joke. She doesn’t say ANYTHING, she just TALKS and throws around jargon. Ugh.

I saw a hilarious clip of some CNN commentator getting absolutely furious that the Republican party would insult his intelligence by putting THIS forward as second-in-line to being president. His fury was palpable and hilarious.

You’re right, the second of the clips you chose is the most frightening. Yet, the Russia one gets more play.
